James Roy "JR" Ceyanes is a highly accomplished dual athlete who excelled in both football and baseball throughout his athletic career.
During his time at Katy High School, JR was a key player on both the football and baseball teams. He played an integral role in leading his football team to a state championship victory and served as team captain during his senior year, despite facing a season-ending injury early on. JR's leadership, determination, and skill earned him deep respect from teammates and coaches alike.
After high school, JR continued his football career as a wide receiver at Abilene Christian University, where he played for two seasons and contributed to the team’s WAC Conference Championship win. Though he is no longer playing college football, his time as a student-athlete shaped his discipline and competitive mindset.
JR is planning to attend Texas A&M University, where he will be pursuing a degree in finance. He has successfully passed the Life and Health Insurance Exam, becoming a licensed financial representative. He brings the same drive and focus from his athletic career into his professional life, currently contributing as a Client Relations Associate at Encompass Advisory Services.
