Thomas Payne

Tom joined Encompass Advisory Services, LLC in 2024.  He is an ownership partner and Investment Advisor Representative.

He has been a financial advisor for 24 years now and works with individuals, families, small business owners, and institutional clients. Through his extensive experience with financial planning, investments, and insurance, he serves his clients by listening, helping them develop their goals and getting organized financially. He offers prudent advice which has enabled him to be a resource to those that count on him to help them make solid financial decisions – big and small alike. Another area of expertise is enabling his clients to incorporate their Christian faith with their finances through the means of using socially screened investments.

Tom was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 22, 1963 – the same day President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. When he was seven years old, his father accepted a new job in Honolulu, Hawaii. Then, after two years, they relocated to Concord, California. After high school, he graduated from Holy Names University in 1986 with a B.A. in Psychology. After college, he worked for United Airlines, AirTouch (on their Y2K team), and also a small family-owned lighting manufacturer.

He married his Peruvian sweetheart, Jacqui, in 1999 and started their family. They have since been blessed with nine children and recently a granddaughter!

Looking for more stability and a permanent career, Tom accepted a job offer with Prudential in 2000. This began his journey as an independent financial advisor and the formation of his company, Prosperitas Wealth Management. He worked with a few broker-dealers and then in 2015 made the decision to join another firm, Trinity Fiduciary Partners, located in Arlington, Texas. 

With this new affiliation, he and Jacqui decided to move the family to Texas in 2017, which has since become their home. They are very involved with their children at school and also volunteer as parishioners at both St. Maria Goretti and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Churches in Arlington. Tom is also a Third Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus.
